On the Register of British Ships, number 12/1925 she was transferred to C Markham & Son Limited on 5th November 1926. Then to Lincoln & Hull Water Transport Company Limited on 22nd December 1930, then it seems "VI" was mortgaged to C Markham & Son Limited on the same day for the sum of £9000. She sank near to West Walker Dyke Jetty (Upper Humber) in October of 1935 and later re-floated. Her mortgage was discharged on 12th February 1947 and Lincoln & Hull Water Transport Company Limited then sold her to Good Havercroft & Company Limited on 18th April 1950. The sailing register was closed on 27th May 1952 on the installation of a motor, her name was changed to "Smithywood" at the same time.
